Wow, we would have loved to go. Unfortunately (or, to tell the truth, fortunately!), Laura is graduating that weekend, so we're booked solid both Saturday and Sunday. Keep us in mind for future events. We both really love Bluegrass. Before Dan, we recently saw Rhonda Vincent in NYC, and she was great too! Hope to see y'all soon!

Hey, Hadar! Dave and I are BIG bluegrass fans and are planning on attending the 5th annual Menokin Bluegrass Festival on May 10 to see Tony Rice, world's most amazing bluegrass guitar player. It's in Va's Northern Neck and tickets are available at the gate starting at 2. Concert goes from 3-7 with lawn chair/blanket seating, with food, beer and crafts available. Also featured are the Barrel House Mamas, Gold Heart, and Blades of Bluegrass (don't know any of these folks). We'd love to have some company, if you all are down this way! Tony Rice has been around a long time and has added some jazz elements to bluegrass, playing with some of the best, including Bela Fleck. He used to sing, too, but has some weird voice thingy going on that keeps him from contributing with his lovely baritone. He can still play the heck out of a guitar, however, and I can't wait to see him again! Let us know if you're interested! Wish I could have joined you all for Dan Tyyminski--I LOVE his voice! Kim
