Ouch! Humble apologies about mixing up Craig and Charlie. I took some pains to get it right, but obviously, I didn't succeed. Worse, I guess once I thought I had it right, the error was bound to be repeated. Thanks for setting me (and any other readers here) straight!

Of course, I realize that I was in the wildly small minority in our crowd as well. Clearly, The Proclaimers are beloved, and that doesn't happen by accident, so I know you are right that their music speaks to lots of people, and deeply.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts here!

Well, chacun a son goute. I am seeing The Proclaimers 8 times in a row, and I am NEVER bored! Different groups speak to different people, but I find their songs about life, death, love, marriage, children, parents, politics, Scotland, drinking, football, etc. endlessly fascinating and honest. You are, of course, entitled to your opinion. (Jerremy Fisher is also quite good.) Two points: the Lois you mention is not me, the Lois from LA. Also, you have called Craig Charlie and Charlie Craig throughout your review and pictures.
