At the end of the show, we waited with the rest of the fans to say a quick 'hi you're awesome!' :-) But our guests had to get on the road (long drives) so off they went.

We'd assumed the Fredericksburg group got home long before us. Sadly they didn't (though there's a good ending to what occurred).

They followed a GPS route but missed the turnoff because of 'navigation problems'. They had a Garmin eTrex, (which they term useful if you're lost in the woods but not-so-much if you're trying to get back to I-95.)

They wound up at a toll road with unmanned booths and they had no change. A driver pulled up, threw out a handful of coins, which landed on the ground. The next driver reached into the "Rejected Change" slot, grabbed a handful of change, then ran the toll!

Our friends finally commandeered a car with a good citizen who saved the day (or night!) by giving them the change to get through the booth - and finally, home!

At the end of the show, we waited with the rest of Girlyman's fans to say a quick 'hi you're awesome!' :-) But our guests wanted to get on the road (one with a two hour drive) so off they went.

We'd assumed the Fredericksburg contingent made it home long before us. Sadly they did not, though the story's funny because it has a good ending.

They followed a GPS-route but missed the turnoff due to some navigation errors! (They were using a Garmin eTrex, which they describe as useful if you're lost in the woods but less so if you're trying to get back to I-95.)

So they wound up at a toll road with unmanned booths - and they had no change! A driver pull up to the adjacent booth, toss a handful of change which landed on the ground. The _next_ person to pull up reached into the "Rejected Change" slot, grabbed a handful of change, then ran through the toll booth!

Eventually our friends commandeered a car driving by and the good citizen saved the day (or night!) by giving our friends the change to get through the booth!
