Cool! We've been lucky to connect with a few readers of this blog over the past few years, and we look forward to adding you to that list!

Yes, we'll be at the City Winery show on Jan 25th (a fundraiser for Haiti for those of you who want to help, and hear some awesome music in the process). We are coming with another couple, and will be there early for dinner. We always sit as close to the stage as possible, given that Lois is effectively legally blind.

Please come and say hi. And yes, there will definitely be a blog about that show as well. :-)

I have seen you guys at the last few Vienna shows I've been at and I just connected you two to this blog when Vienna said "Hi Lois" last night. I've been reading your over the past few months to read recaps of shows especially ones that I can't get to. The entries are wonderfully written. You summarized last evening perfectly. Even though I've been a fan of Vienna's since 2003, this is the most intimate venue I've seen her at since she's risen in popularity: a perk of her move to New York! NYC traffic last night really was horrific - I was only coming from Jersey, but it took me much longer than I had anticipated. As you said, it was totally worth it. I was lucky enough to get a parking spot a block away. I was sitting next to the cell phone woman and I couldn't figure out why she wouldn't reach to turn it off. Maybe she was embarassed to admit it was her? (I don't even have that ringtone and I checked each time to make sure it wasn't me.) Vienna's reaction was yet another reason to support her music: she really does have that on the spot old school classiness that is not so common in my generation. Will you be going to City Winery on Monday? If so, I look forward to another blog about it. =)
