Welcome WordPress 2.3

Send to Kindle

The only plugin that I had installed which supposedly wasn’t compatible with 2.3 was Google Sitemaps Generator. There was a newer version available, which was compatible. So, I just took the plunge and upgraded. Smooth as silk.

This is now the first post that has any tags associated with it. ๐Ÿ™‚

Jealous. Downside of the super custom theme with dozen plugins. I’m being careful and waiting before upgrading to 2.3. Also going to move hosting providers at the same time.

I waited a few days after I read your blog and warning. Then, when I didn’t see any major complaints about 2.3, I decided to “go for it”. Thankfully, it was smooth.

I also went back and tagged most of my old posts (not necessarily completely, but at least with the most important tags), just because I wanted to see if the default Tag Cloud widget would work, and it does!

    Pretty cool! ๐Ÿ™‚
